Teachers and parents should teach children of all ages, especially younger kids, the importance of fire safety. The children at Shining Star Kindergarten – campus 2 today had a day experiencing with fire fighters of how to get out of the room with full of smoke and how to put out fire. They learnt how to respond to the sound of a smoke alarm. Smoke from a fire can make it hard to see where things are, so it’s important to learn and remember the different ways out of a room. How many exits are there? How do you get to them from your room? They learn that they should get low and get out of the room when they hear it. Children who are coached properly ahead of time will have a better chance to be safe. Let’s take a look at these pictures to see how seriously they learnt today!
