Do you want to know where our food comes from?
Let’s go with us to Shining Star farm and experience some activities on the farm today. Let’s visit farm animals, let’s harvest vegetables; let’s feed fish and let’s eat lunch together.
There are some things that we just cannot learn from a book or in school. Spending a day on a farm will change the way you see food. Food becomes a reward not just something that comes from a grocery store. Children who grow and raise their own food are more likely to waste less and eat a greater variety of food. Experiencing activities on the farm is so rewarding. Farming teaches children of all ages life skills like raising food, working hard, communication, caring for others and much more. Farming is educational, and teaching your children where exactly their food comes from is a lesson itself.
